Remember Aileen from a few months ago? I photographed her first birthday and had a blast! Well, little miss is going to be a big sister!

I had a great time last weekend photographing Jenna and Aileen (and soon to be baby Hayden!). There was gorgeous light in their home, and Aileen was so sweet and gentle with mommy's tummy.

Jenna had a few ideas in mind, but she was great about letting me play with different ideas. Aileen was so sweet and cuddly too; it made for some really sweet photos!

I can't wait to go back and meet baby Hayden!

Saturday was a gray and wet day, but that didn't stop Wendy and I from having a great time at Log Boom Park in Lake Forest Park! I met Wendy through a friend and as we talked, I told her about my photography, and she told me that her mom has been bugging her for new pictures.

So... here you go mom!

happy 2009!

i can't believe that it's january again! time has just been flying, and i've been staying pretty busy... school's back in session after an extra week of vacation because of the snow; and i have to say, i'm glad to be back.

{ it was a dark and stormy night... }

but it was warm and toasty at the Hotel Monte Cristo in Everett!

I was happy to assist jennygg as she photographed Leslie and Bryan's big day. It was SO rainy and windy (and later, a bit snowy!) outside, but that didn't stop the fun and family and love and happiness inside!











I had the best time running the photobooth - everyone was so fun with the bag o'props!

{ family fun in woodinville }

I had the pleasure of photographing my friend Denise and her family a few weekends ago. We met at Molbak's in Woodinville and goofed around for an hour or two! We played with the wreaths and amongst the christmas trees. Molbak's is beautiful this time of year, and their holiday displays are absolutely gorgeous!

i hope you all had a wonderful Thanksgiving weekend filled with family and friends and fun! i love the holidays - not the cold or early nights - but i love the excitement and decorations... and most of all, the pretty lights! one of my favorite things is bokeh... this kind is a little forced, but i still love the effect!


and using a little template that i made, i can get bokeh hearts - how totally cute is that?! it gets dark before i get off work, so i've yet to try it during the daylight, but come this weekend, you better believe i'll be out there!

Last Saturday miss Aileen celebrated her very first birthday! Aileen's mom, Jenna, worked so hard, and everything looked beautiful! There were lots of friends and family there to help Aileen celebrate. Happy birthday Aileen, and THANK YOU so much for letting me be a part of your big day!
