{ wedding - amber & justin }

I had big fun on Saturday assisting JennyGG! This time we were up in Mt. Vernon at the Grand Willow Inn for Amber and Justin's wedding. The day started out a little gray and foggy, but it turned out to be absolutely gorgeous!

Amber and Justin are such a sweet and loving couple; it was a pleasure to be a part of their special day. Congratulations!


Amber's dress was just beautiful!


Amber's mom got a little teary-eyed as she watched Justin see Amber for the first time in her gown.

It was such a cold day and those poor girls were out in only a dress! Amber's grand-father helped keep Hannah warm while she waited during the formals.





Amber's mom made this beautiful cake! I was so impressed with the detailing!

{ i love seattle }

i've been neglecting my little blog corner of the world lately... although, i've never really been one for consistent posting. it's always a goal to post more often, but that seems to get pushed to the bottom of the list most times.

here are a few of my favorite seattle pictures that i've taken recently... i love living in seattle... despite the fact that it's snowing outside right now... *sigh*

Remember Aileen from a few months ago? I photographed her first birthday and had a blast! Well, little miss is going to be a big sister!

I had a great time last weekend photographing Jenna and Aileen (and soon to be baby Hayden!). There was gorgeous light in their home, and Aileen was so sweet and gentle with mommy's tummy.

Jenna had a few ideas in mind, but she was great about letting me play with different ideas. Aileen was so sweet and cuddly too; it made for some really sweet photos!

I can't wait to go back and meet baby Hayden!

Saturday was a gray and wet day, but that didn't stop Wendy and I from having a great time at Log Boom Park in Lake Forest Park! I met Wendy through a friend and as we talked, I told her about my photography, and she told me that her mom has been bugging her for new pictures.

So... here you go mom!

happy 2009!

i can't believe that it's january again! time has just been flying, and i've been staying pretty busy... school's back in session after an extra week of vacation because of the snow; and i have to say, i'm glad to be back.

{ it was a dark and stormy night... }

but it was warm and toasty at the Hotel Monte Cristo in Everett!

I was happy to assist jennygg as she photographed Leslie and Bryan's big day. It was SO rainy and windy (and later, a bit snowy!) outside, but that didn't stop the fun and family and love and happiness inside!











I had the best time running the photobooth - everyone was so fun with the bag o'props!
