Last Saturday turned out to be a beautiful day for Heather and Reid's big day! It had started off rainy and gray, but just as it was time for the big reveal and family pictures, the skies dried up and the sun made a gorgeous appearance!


It's always a blast to assist Jenny GG - She's an amazing photographer! Thanks again, Jenny, for letting me assist!

Reid's mom and other friend's and family members watched as Reid saw Heather for the first time in her wedding dress. It was so sweet how they all held each other!

Last Friday was a great day! It was the official start of my spring break from work, and it was Brooke and Derek's big day! Plus... how awesome are they, that they had cupcakes instead of a cake? and not just any cupcakes... Cupcake Royale cupcakes... only my favorite place ever!

As usual, I was assisting the fantastic Jenny GG; it's always such fun working with her... is there anything better than working with your BFF? Here are some of my favorites from the day... be sure to check out Jenny's site... her pictures are absolutely gorgeous!

{ happy birthday to ME! }

so... today was my birthday, and all i wanted was some fun, some sun, some photos, and my bff!

we headed to carkeek park to have some chilly fun on the toys and to catch the sun as it sank below the mountains. it was such a pretty day and the sunlight was gorgeous!

it was a super fun, totally awesome day - i couldn't have asked for a better time tonight!

{ wedding - amy & derek }

Last Saturday night Amy and Derek said 'i do' in front of friends and family at the gorgeous Sorrento Hotel in Seattle. It was a beautiful ceremony; the couple exchanged hand written vows and even wrote letters to each other that they'll open on their first anniversary! Amy's brother even made a beautiful box to hold the letters until they're ready to be opened.

And if that wasn't enough to bring you tears of happiness, Derek presented Haley, Amy's daughter, with a beautiful necklace.

It was such a sweet and touching night!

Congratulations Amy and Derek... and Haley too!

And thank you to Jenny GG for allowing me to assist her in this very fun day! She totally rocks!

{ wedding - amber & justin }

I had big fun on Saturday assisting JennyGG! This time we were up in Mt. Vernon at the Grand Willow Inn for Amber and Justin's wedding. The day started out a little gray and foggy, but it turned out to be absolutely gorgeous!

Amber and Justin are such a sweet and loving couple; it was a pleasure to be a part of their special day. Congratulations!


Amber's dress was just beautiful!


Amber's mom got a little teary-eyed as she watched Justin see Amber for the first time in her gown.

It was such a cold day and those poor girls were out in only a dress! Amber's grand-father helped keep Hannah warm while she waited during the formals.





Amber's mom made this beautiful cake! I was so impressed with the detailing!
