It's Been a Busy Month!

School's back in session, and I've been SO busy! I've taken some time this past week to get out and try out some super cool camera toys!

I've been loving the look of TTV, so a few weeks ago I found myself an Argus Seventy-Five. It came the other day, and I'm in LOOOOVE!

My other favorite thing is the lensbaby! I don't have one yet, but I borrowed one from my super awesome friend JennyGG! It takes a while to get used to, but it can create some awesome images!

Thanks for stopping by! My renewed goal has been to try to update this thing more often... but we'll see!

On Sunday, August 24th, I volunteered some time to photograph the 4th Annual NW African American Group Art Exhibition presented by the Northwest African American Fine Arts Association.

For this particular event, members of the African American Writers Alliance were invited to view the exhibit and then compose works in response to the artwork.

The Seattle Channel was also there taping the event as part of a short documentary on the NAAFA. The 10 minute production should air on cable channel 21 later this fall.

The exhibit runs through September 4th at the Art/Not Terminal Gallery; be sure to stop by and check out the amazing works of art!

Saturday was a gorgeous day for a wedding, and I had the absolute pleasure of assisting the amazing and talented Jenny GG for Catherine and Floyd's special day. The wedding was held at their home in Everett and was attended by family and close friends.

It was a fantastic day filled with love, joy, and celebration! Congratulations Catherine and Floyd! Thank you so much for letting me be a part of your amazing day!

help in the boudoir ...

I had a blast photographing a boudoir session last week. It was a first for me... and the model! But we were both more than satisfied with the results! And I'm sure the lucky recipient will be more than pleased!

A had a fun session this past week with three adorable kids!

We played in the backyard for a little while; playing on the swings, jumping rope, playing in the dandelions, and even chasing a few butterflies! Then we went inside and played downstairs.

I had a great time, and the kids were great! I can't wait to work with this family again!

Dustin and Linnea

I had the pleasure of photographing Dustin and Linnea's special day! They are such a sweet couple and such fun to work with.

The wedding was held at Dustin's mother's house just outside of Kingston. The bride and groom said their vows outside in a beautifully decorated garden, and after the "i do's," took the party inside!

We had gorgeous weather for an outdoor wedding and a simple beautiful backdrop for their formal shots!

I wish them the best of luck! Thanks for including me in your day!
